We all have fears, but they don’t have to prevent us from living a full life. In this lesson, you will learn to embrace discomfort and overcome your fears.

Marlise will share stories of the many fears she once had and will teach you how to harness inspiration, support and courage to overcome them and find the hope needed to follow your path.
Today’s Focus + Action Steps

JOURNAL: Write down your top 3 fears. Then write what is the worst that could happen if they became reality. Then write the top 3 things that could happen instead that would be amazing.

VISUALIZE: What would you do if you had no fear? Who would you be?

I’m excited to share with you today’s tip. It’s about letting go of fears.

Now, that sounds easier said than done, right? I want to explain something to you, but first, let me read today’s quote. It’s from Frank Clark: “If you can find a path with no obstacles, it probably doesn’t lead anywhere.”

Does that make sense? It does. So, don’t look for something that’s just the easy way out. Okay? That’s not going to get you there.

Let me tell you something: This journey, this adventure, yes, there will be struggles. Yes, there will be obstacles to overcome, but guess what? You now have the tools that’ll support you! Not only to find your own courage but to give you insight and inspiration along the way.

They’re all inside the SOS Method app. That’s why I developed it. So, it’s just sitting there like your best friend in your pocket all the time.

Let me share something with you from my own story. As a child and even into adulthood, I was afraid of everything. I was afraid of getting on the airplane for the first time. I was afraid of ordering my own ice cream as a kid. I believe that I came into this world with my mother’s PTSD. Okay, as we know, you can have a predisposition to this ancestral trauma. I think I walked in with it and that’s where all those fears came from.

So, how does somebody with that level of fear begin to travel the world? Take airplanes and trains and cars and whatever ships to meet people and be with people all over the world?

That happens from expanding the courage from within. That happens from the inspiration that ignites. That happens from drawing to you the people who will support you and join you in these journeys.

So, letting go of fear is a great thing to do in your life.

Begin it today. Let go of your fears.

TODAY’S TIPS + INSIGHTS

I LOVE the meaning of today’s focus. It makes so much sense, doesn’t it?

You want to live a life that is meaningful and fulfilling.

When you are up to powerful things and want to live a fulfilling life, it sometimes presents you with new obstacles.

If you want to steer your mind in a positive direction, surround yourself with friends who want to live full out, like you.

A friend who will cry with you, but only for a moment, and then remind you who you are, and the power you have.

Every Hero needs a Mentor and a great friend.

Find one friend to cheer you on. Tell them you want their support to always stay on the path. It will help, comfort, and motivate you so much.
