I want you to take a moment right now and celebrate. I want you to celebrate that you’re keeping your commitments. You said you were going to walk this journey and you’re doing it! You’re showing up every day. So, just take a moment and say “thank you.” Thank you to yourself for keeping your commitments.

That’s a good feeling. It is something worth celebrating. So today’s quote is this. It’s by Benjamin Franklin: “Do not anticipate trouble or worry about what may never happen. Keep in the sunlight.”

Wow! That’s a good one, isn’t it? And it’s not so easy.

The mind loves running rampant with negativity, negative thoughts, negative this, negative that. What you have to remember is you don’t want to focus on what you don’t want. When you focus on what you don’t want, you’re drawing it to you. So, rather focus on what you want!

Now, the mind is still going to do what it does. You’re still going to see worries popping in and different fears, like:

  • What’s going to happen?
  • This is a troubling time.
  • How will I get out of it?

On and on. This will happen throughout life, not just now.

So, here’s a super simple tip: “Thank you, I love you. Thank you, I love you.”

Tell that to your mind when you hear one of those thoughts really talking about a negative future. Really being worried about something. Catch it and say “Thank you, I love you. Thank you, I love you.”

You haven’t figured it all out, yet. You can do that later when you drop into the meditations and get into the inspiration and all of that. But, for now, let’s keep it super simple. When you hear that negativity, when you feel yourself going down that road: “Thank you, I love you” are great words to replace the ones that aren’t supporting you.

Thank you, I love you.
